Arthur has absolutely terrible nightmares . I know this is already canon but whatever i wanna talk about the pendragons damnit !!!!!! / silly

They get a lot worse after they set out to find the grail . usually he just wakes up in a bit of a cold sweat and maybe kicks and tosses and turns a little in his sleep but once theyre out to find the grail , he basically wakes up and has a panic attack . he can't breathe , sometimes he can't move , a lot of the time he feels very dizzy and can't even sit up . paranoia overtakes him . if lancelot and guinevere are also sleeping , sometimes he goes and shakes them awake in sheer panic , thinking theyre wounded or worse . Arthur doesn't get a single night of good sleep on that damn trip , he's always awake and worrying . even if he's weak and exhausted , he still always insists on keeping watch for the others because he can't stand the thought of not being awake to protect them . he can't lose guinevere and lancelot , they're all he has left . he'd be nothing without them .

during the trip , his nightmares are very rarely about the lake anymore . they're about losing his loves , something going horribly wrong and having to watch both of them either die quickly , taken right before his eyes , or of them dying slow , painful deaths from illness or infection .

sometimes the nightmares make him utterly sick . sometimes the dizziness and shortness of breath don't go away in a couple of seconds and sometimes last for hours . they were all held back from traveling a decent amount of times due to arthur constantly becoming unable to ride his motorcycle or just even move at all . and like hell they were gonna force him to walk like that either .

guinevere and lancelot try and help him sleep better , but it never really helps . they attempt to hold him like how they did when they slept back home , with one on each side of him , but it always ends up with whoever is holding him from the front getting kneed in the stomach ..

i think uuwemmbu and egg always jump at the chance to help her out especially because it was zam who took the approach toward them first, so whenever shes being ganged up on or losing in a fight they always come to her no matter what. egg isnt a good fighter but hes gotten alright at escaping so he jumps in as a distraction while wemmbu and zam overwhelm the enemies, or else he distracts while wemmbu gets zam out of a bad situation. i also think they like to compete w flame to see who gets there first to help zam out (at first hes only doing it for the adrenaline of a fight but at some point he also gets engrossed in the competition because sure, its fun when zam loses to Him, but seeing her throw herself at an impossible enemy and losing when he can help? well thats just stupid. hes her teammate this season, he should be allowed to help if he wants)

also i think about wemmbu and zam comparing scars a lot and taking care if each others injuries. most of wemmbus body is covered by explosion injuries but there are also stuff like slightly sculked wounds from his time with rejoice and the scar from the backlashof his totem popping. and zam of course has copious body scars from her time during s4 and s5, where mapicc and minute respectively killed her iver and over, but also a scar around her neck from her execution in s3 and scars and burns from the wormhole. idk i think is just like them to take care of each other and get coddled by egg and flame too maybe.....
